What makes me different is my documentary approach paired with a calming presence. I focus just as much on how the experience feels as the final images. How We Select the Best Photos

Behind the Scenes: Our Photo Culling Process After your session

Whether it's a wedding, family shoot, or portrait session, we capture hundreds of images to ensure no beautiful moment is missed. But not every photo makes it into your final gallery—and that’s a good thing. We take time to curate the best of the best, so your final images are meaningful, polished, and truly reflective of your story.

Here’s how we do it:

 1. Removing the “Unusable” Shots

Like any professional session, there are bound to be photos with:  Closed eyes or mid-blinks, Accidental movements or test shots, Blurry or unintentional frames. These are removed first. We only keep the images that meet a high quality standard, so you never have to scroll past the “oops” moments.

2. Keeping the Real, Beautiful Moments

For weddings, we look for emotional glances, hugs, laughter, and all the little in-between moments.

For family sessions, we focus on genuine connections, smiles, and the natural joy of being together.

For portraits, we keep flattering angles, soft expressions, and a range of strong looks and poses.

 3. Selecting with Intention and Variety

We carefully avoid repetition and make sure your gallery includes: A mix of wide, medium, and close-up shots. Different backgrounds and angles. A balanced blend of candid and posed photos. Your gallery should feel like a story, never like a reel of similar frames.

4. Your Story Comes First

Every final gallery is curated to reflect the emotion and energy of your day. Whether it’s a tearful first look at your wedding, a quiet cuddle with your toddler, or a radiant portrait just for you, we’re telling your story through carefully chosen images.

5. Only the Best Go to Editing

Once the final images are selected, we move on to editing, where each photo is hand-edited for color, lighting, and style. Every image you receive will be polished, cohesive, and ready to print, post, or frame.

Why Don’t You Send Every Photo?

We believe in quality over quantity. Rather than overwhelm you with hundreds of near-duplicates or unflattering moments, we deliver a refined gallery that’s full of emotion, beauty, and intention. Every image you receive is one we’d be proud to hang on a wall.
